Terms of Use Last updated: April 11, 2026 These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Jeremy Le, the developer of FORGE: Level Your Life ("FORGE", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using FORGE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. This is the standard "End User License Agreement" (EULA) referenced in the Apple App Store listing. It supplements, but does not replace, Apple's Standard EULA, which also applies. 1. The Service FORGE is a gamified productivity iOS application that lets you turn habits, dailies, and to-dos into character progression in a role-playing game system. Features include task tracking, character attributes, badges, visions, leaderboards, a focus timer, and an in-app cosmetic shop. 2. Eligibility & Account You must be at least 13 years old to use FORGE. You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to not impersonate others. One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted. 3. License Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use FORGE on any iOS device that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. 4. Subscriptions (FORGE Pro) 4.1 Plans & Pricing FORGE offers an optional premium subscription, FORGE Pro, with two billing options: FORGE Pro Monthly — billed monthly FORGE Pro Yearly — billed annually Current prices are shown inside the app on the upgrade screen and may vary by region and currency. 4.2 Billing & Auto-Renewal Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price, unless changed. 4.3 Managing & Cancelling You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → FORGE Pro Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Pro access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com. 4.4 Free Trial If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, unless required by law. 5. Virtual Items, Gold & Gems Gold, Gems, badges, cosmetic items, and other in-app rewards are virtual items with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred between accounts, or sold. We may modify, remove, or rebalance virtual items at any time as part of game balancing or content updates. If your account is deleted (by you or by us due to violation of these Terms), all virtual items associated with the account are forfeited. 6. Acceptable Use When using FORGE, you agree NOT to: Use cheats, exploits, automation, modified clients, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain leaderboard advantages Manipulate game data, character stats, or task completions Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app Use offensive, harassing, hateful, or illegal usernames Impersonate other users or claim to represent FORGE Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers Use the app for any unlawful purpose Violation of these rules may result in a leaderboard reset, suspension, or permanent termination of your account without refund. 7. Anti-Cheat & Usage Restrictions We reserve the right to use automated and manual systems to detect abusive behavior, including but not limited to automated play, manipulating game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage, and circumventing our security measures. Where abuse is detected, we may restrict or remove individual features — in particular access to the social game world, including the leaderboard, shop, and friends — temporarily or permanently and without prior notice. The core self-organization features (tasks, goals, and focus sessions) are excluded from any such restriction and remain fully available, so that you can continue to use FORGE productively at all times. Paid content you have purchased (for example an active FORGE Pro subscription or purchased Gems) remains available to you after a restriction, except where the corresponding feature category is itself the subject of the restriction. 8. User Content The text content you create inside FORGE (habit names, task descriptions, vision titles, username) is yours. By creating a username and participating in leaderboards, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that username to other users for the purpose of operating the leaderboard feature. 9. Intellectual Property FORGE, including the app name, logo, branding (FORGE ember/forge aesthetic, golden-amber accents), source code, artwork, badges, icons, sound effects, and all other content provided by us, is the property of Jeremy Le and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. 10. Third-Party Services FORGE integrates with the following third parties: Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store, StoreKit (subscriptions) Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions (servers in Zürich, Switzerland) Google AdMob — advertising in the free version Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or behavior. 11. Disclaimer of Warranties FORGE is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your specific expectations. Cloud sync, leaderboards, and any feature depending on third-party servers may be temporarily unavailable. FORGE is a productivity tool. We make no claims that using FORGE will produce specific personal, professional, health, or fitness outcomes. 12. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Jeremy Le be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of FORGE. Our total liability for any claim related to FORGE shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or CHF 50, whichever is greater. 13. Termination You may stop using FORGE at any time and delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, in particular Section 6 (Acceptable Use). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will remain in effect. 14. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use of FORGE after an update means you accept the revised Terms. 15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Winterthur, Canton of Zürich, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. 16. Apple-Specific Terms You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Jeremy Le, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for FORGE or its content. In the event of any failure of FORGE to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to FORGE. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you. 17.
